Otamatea High School is a state Year 7 to 13 co-educational school. It is situated on Bickerstaffe Road, approximately two kilometres from Maungaturoto.
Our contributing primary schools are Paparoa, Maungaturoto and Kaiwaka, although we do take students from outside this area, including Mangawhai, Matakohe, Tinopai and Waipu.
Maungaturoto township is a small, rural service town situated on State Highway 12, seven kilometres from the State Highway 12/State Highway 1 junction.
The school is one-and-a-half hours driving time north of Auckland and fifty minutes South of Whangarei.
Maungaturoto is ideally located close to Mangawhai, Waipu and the Kaipara Harbour and offers a full range of support services. |
