Groundsperson and Assistant Caretaker- Full-Time Position
We are seeking a reliable and diligent individual to join our team as a full-time Groundsman and Assistant Caretaker.
This role is essential in ensuring our school grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe and inviting environment for our entire school community.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Taking pride in the care of our sports fields, gardens, and general grounds. Experience in this area is a significant advantage.
Assisting with maintenance and repair jobs around the school.
The ability to operate and maintain grounds machinery, including mowers, tractor, and trimmers, is highly desirable.
A proactive approach and the capability to work effectively and independently.
Driver’s License: A clean, full New Zealand Driver’s License.
Start date is negotiable.

Part time Fixed Term (6 months) School Attendance Support Worker
Otamatea High School is a thriving rural school, with a strong reputation in our community.
We are seeking an In School Attendance Support Worker to help improve student attendance.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and building positive relationships with whanau.
Up to 15 hours per week term time only, fixed term for 6 months. Some home visits will be required. We are looking for someone that can:
